Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Bandung Metropolitan Police AKBP Galih Indragiri explained the reasons why the authorities did not detain Arya despite being declared a suspect.
"Yes, I also need to convey that because the threat is less than five years, it is not an exceptional article, so we cannot detain him, that's the procedure. We summoned him for last Thursday, but he couldn't come, he conveyed through his lawyer to request time to be able to attend here," he explained.

Until now, there have been no recent developments regarding this case. However, Arya has indeed been declared a suspect.
"So far, there haven't been any, some time ago we raised his status to a suspect, we have summoned him, but he couldn't attend. However, according to the existing regulations, they provided reasons, and we accepted their reasons. We will provide updates later," Galih continued.
The police themselves have indeed made a summons to Arya but he did not attend. From Arya's side, he has sent a letter through his legal counsel regarding the reasons for his absence.
"The reason is requesting time because there is something that cannot be left behind. (Possibly due to work) Yes, it could be related to work or something else. But what is conveyed from the letter," concluded Galih.
