Divorce Lawsuit of Jenita Janet Accepted by Judge, Husband Proven to Have Given First Divorce

Dendy Zuhairil, Jenita Janet's legal representative, said that with the acceptance of this divorce lawsuit, it is proven that Alief has indeed given a divorce to Jenita.

"The decision to accept the lawsuit proves that Alief has given the first divorce to Janet," said Dendy when contacted on Tuesday (17/3).

1. Given 14 Days

Dendy continued, although the judge's decision stated that the divorce lawsuit was accepted, Jenita Janet's party still had to wait. The court gave Alief's party 14 days to file an appeal.

"The decision is divorce, but there is a 14-day time limit for legal action taken by the defendant if the defendant does not accept the decision," said Dendy.

2. Not Yet to Asset Division

Dendy said, in this hearing, they will focus on the divorce between Jenita Janet and Alief. In addition, Jenita Janet's lawsuit does not mention the division of assets.

"There is no asset division in our lawsuit, we will resolve it through discussion. It's purely a divorce," he said.
