First Time Acting alongside Vanesha Prescilla, Jefri Nichol Has No Difficulty Building Chemistry

Kapanlagi.com - Jefri Nichol admits to being happy to be able to act alongside Vanesha Prescilla for the first time. They were chosen to be the main characters in the Vidio Original Series 'Paradise Garden'.

“I feel happy to have Vanesha as my co-star because we have known each other for quite a long time and this is our first project together,” said Jefri Nichol during a virtual press conference on Wednesday (28/7).

Although it is their first time acting together, Jefri Nichol does not feel any difficulty in building chemistry. Because in reality, they have known each other for a long time.

“It's the same with Vanesha because we have known each other for a long time and used to joke around, so we didn't have to work too hard to build chemistry because we already had chemistry before,” explained Jefri Nichol.

1. Need Time to Break the Ice

But because they haven't met for almost a year, both of them need time to break the ice. They even went out together, even if it was just for eating and talking.

"It's just because we haven't met for about a year before this project. So (building chemistry) was just eating together once, talking about the project, talking about news, and when shooting started, we started joking around a lot, mostly joking," he said while laughing.

Meanwhile, Wicky V. Olindo as the producer revealed his reason for pairing Jefri Nichol and Vanesha Prescilla in the series 'Paradise Garden'. According to him, both of them are the best talents at the moment.

"Vanesha is very talented, both of them are also popular. For Vanesha, playing in this series is a challenge in itself, she is very interested. As for Jefri, he has done it many times, he can play anything, switch from different characters, certainly one of the best talents," he concluded.

2. Chemistry between Vanesha Prescilla and Jefri Nichol

The duo directors of the series Paradise Garden, Tommy Dewo and Ginanti Rona, revealed their reasons for choosing Vanesha as Jefri's partner. According to them, although they have never worked together before, Jefri and Vanesha have a strong chemistry.

"Jefri and Vanesha have been friends for a long time, they already have a strong chemistry but have never worked together. Then when there's Paradise Garden, this becomes an opportunity to bring them together here," said Tommy, who also directed the series Serigala Terakhir.

"When us directors talked to Jefri and Vanesha, we also saw their seriousness and passion for this project. So it became a good synergy, and the shooting went smoothly until it finished," added Ginanti.
