Kapanlagi.com - Influencer Rachel Vennya shared her experience participating in the casting for her latest movie titled SLEEP CALL. In the film, Rachel Vennya plays the role of Nur, a woman who works as a debt collector for online loans.
Rachel revealed that the casting for the movie SLEEP CALL was her first experience in the acting world. This mother of two felt something strange when joining the casting for a feature film for the first time.
"Yesterday was my first casting and it was a bit strange, I was asked to get angry without having a scene partner," said Rachel Vennya with a laugh, when met at the KLY office, Central Jakarta, on Monday (14/8/2023).
Former wife Okin also revealed that when acting, she was worried and felt something strange.
"It's kind of weird, because it never happened before. I'm trying to act, while glancing around like 'am I doing it right?', haha," she said.
However, although initially nervous, Rachel Vennya admitted that she no longer feels too anxious when playing with other cast members of SLEEP CALL.
"Next, when playing, when shooting, meeting other actors, still nervous but not as nervous as during casting," she said.
Then, Rachel Vennya revealed that most of her friends are content creators, and there are only a few of her colleagues who act in films. Therefore, she cannot ask many questions to her friends about the acting world.
"Actually, my friends who really have stories about acting are the ones who have acted in films, there are only two or three people," said Rachel Vennya.
"Because I am mostly friends with content creators. I also ask them, they always say no, it's just casting, 'but it's not just that'," concluded Rachel Vennya.
