First Time Starring in a Comedy Soap Opera Titled '17+', Ochi Rosdiana Can't Stop Laughing

Kapanlagi.com - Ochi Rosdiana is currently involved in the latest SCTV soap opera titled 17+. In this comedy drama genre soap opera, Ochi Rosdiana plays the role of Julia, the daughter of a boarding house owner with high aspirations.

“I play the role of Julia. Actually, Julia has a strong determination not to prioritize love but to prioritize her dreams. Julia is smart, diligent in studying, and not snobbish. Even though Babe has many boarding houses, she still takes public transportation to go to college,” said Ochi Rosdiana during a virtual press conference on Wednesday (30/6).

1. The Challenge of Acting in Comedy for the First Time

For the first time acting in a comedy soap opera, Ochi Rosdiana admitted to having new challenges. One of the challenges is to hold back laughter during scenes.

“Yes, this is my first time acting in a comedy, it's really challenging. I'm a very silly person, even when acting in dramas, I often laugh during takes. And especially in comedy, it's definitely hard to hold back laughter. Now I'm facing a new challenge, I have to be natural,” she explained.

2. Building Chemistry

This soap opera is indeed closely related to family life stories. Ochi Rosdiana and Jeremie Moeremans, who play as siblings, have no difficulty in building chemistry.

“Jeremie and I have worked together in a soap opera before titled 'Kisah Cinta Anak Tiri' so this is not the first time we act together. We even played a couple in 'Kisah Cinta Anak Tiri'. So I'm not confused anymore in finding chemistry with Jeremie,” she concluded.
