Mayang was interested in following in the footsteps of her late sister because she often saw Vanessa Angel acting. Moreover, her sister's acting book is still at home and Mayang reads it.

"Because in the past, when Vanessa was learning acting, Mayang used to watch her, and there were many books, and when Vanessa was learning, Deddy bought her an acting book. From the books of the late Dedi Petet, there are still some at home, and Mayang likes to read them," said Mayang when met in the Kebayoran area, South Jakarta, on Sunday (10/4).

The movie Leak Kajeng Kliwon was directed by Mimi Jegon and Diora and produced by Skyline Film and Jegon Film. In the horror genre film, Mayang will play Putu Laksmi, a village girl from Bali.

The story of Leak Kajeng Kliwon is about the Leak ghost and the Kajeng Kliwon ceremony. It is a ritual ceremony by offering a sacred sacrifice as an offering to Sanghyang Widhi Wasa.

"This story is based on a true story. I was interested in bringing this leak story to the big screen," said Mimi Jegon.

Mimi Jegon also has a reason for choosing Mayang as one of the cast members. This is because Doddy Sudrajat's child has a natural face.

"Why Mayang? Mayang's face is a natural Balinese village. During the acting test, Mayang also participated," explained Mimi Jegon.
