Minola explained that they had held off on legal proceedings during Ramadan. At that time, they hoped for a change from both Vidi and his client.

"Because there was no meeting point, we decided to hold off during the fasting month, hoping that during Ramadan there would be enlightenment for Vidi and our client. There are two possibilities: either Vidi changes to meet our client's demands, or Vidi changes, ultimately accepting what Vidi offers," said Munola.

However, after Idulfitri passed, communication between both parties did not continue. Therefore, Keenan and Rudi decided to take this case to the legal realm.

"But after Ramadan ended, entering the holiday, until today there have been no further discussions. To avoid prolonging the matter, and due to the lack of legal certainty, we are bringing this to the Commercial Court," he said.

"With hope, if the Commercial Court decides on the fair and appropriate value for the use of the song Nuansa Bening without permission, both parties will surely accept it," Minola added.

Minola emphasized that the purpose of the lawsuit is no longer to debate the issue of infringement. The focus now is to determine the appropriate compensation value.

"So actually we are going to court not to debate whether there is an issue or not, but more to determine what is the appropriate and fair compensation value, whether it matches what Vidi has offered, or what our client expects. What is the appropriate and fair compensation value, is it what Vidi has offered all this time or what our client expects," concluded Minola.
