Ayu Ting Ting Reveals the Significant Role of Her Parents in Her Career for Over a Decade

Ayu Ting Ting once again draws public attention through her journey over 15 years in the Indonesian entertainment industry. In a press conference, the dangdut singer appeared emotional while reminiscing about the tough times she faced at the beginning of her career.

"Her struggle has been long. Clearly, if it weren't for my parents, I wouldn't be where I am today. Their struggle never tires," said Ayu at the press conference in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Friday (16/5/2025).

As a singer known for the song 'Alamat Palsu', Ayu feels very grateful to be able to continue creating until now. She admits she never expected to last for one and a half decades in the entertainment world.

"What is clear is that I am grateful to have a career until now. It doesn't feel like it's been 15 years. People say that maintaining it is the hardest part," said Ayu.

Ayu also emphasized that her career journey has never been easy from the start. She had to go through the process from the bottom, starting from singing around to struggling to earn her own income.

"Until now, I am still trusted to continue creating. My struggle from the beginning has not been easy. From singing here and there, earning money, I have gone through it all," said Ayu.

As a significant achievement in her career, Ayu will hold her first solo concert on August 9, 2025. The concert titled Dangdut Dangdutan Ayu Ting Ting will take place at the Shooting Range, Cilodong, Depok, West Java.

"I will present something different that has never been shown before and I didn't expect Antara Suara to choose me to hold a concert. I want to keep dangdut alive, make it more modern, and still be accepted by everyone," he said.
