Former ART of Nindy Ayunda Apologizes While Being Imprisoned During Pregnancy Due to Many Mistakes

Kapanlagi.com - Lia Karyati is currently detained at Pondok Bambu Detention Center for allegedly committing violence against Nindy Ayunda's child, Akifa Dhinara Parasady Harsono. For her actions, Nindy's household assistant apologized.

She conveyed her apology during a hearing held at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (29/3/2022). According to her, she only did it so that Nindy's child would eat.

"Forgive me, Bu Lia, for all this time I have worked with you and made many mistakes. There was no intention whatsoever to harm the child in any way. I just wanted the child to eat," said Lia Karyati during the hearing.

However, Nindy Ayunda did not accept Lia Karyati's apology. The 33-year-old artist felt hurt seeing her beloved daughter being abused by her household assistant.

Lia's actions were uncovered when Nindy saw the surveillance camera footage of her child. Nindy admitted that she could not bear to see Akifa, who is only 5 years old, being treated roughly by Lia Karyati.

2. Nindy's Statement

"Ya Lia must know the consequences of her actions outside. She cannot do things that are very inappropriate. Even I don't know if she will forgive me or not. Especially because of my child, it's definitely not that easy,"  said Nindy Ayunda.

3. Pregnant

After the trial, Lia Karyati's lawyer, Fahmi Bachmid, revealed that his client, who is currently in jail, is heavily pregnant. He said Lia only fulfilled Nindy's request if her child refused to eat.

"Mbak Lia has been detained for three months now, and she is currently 8 months pregnant. She is now in Rutan Pondok Bambu, she is really pitiful. She was assigned to take care of Nindy's children," said Fahmi.

"She was told to feed her children, and if her child didn't want to eat, she had to force them. When my client carried out her duties as instructed, she was reported," Fahmi concluded.

4. The Nindy and ART Case

Lia was known to have committed violence against Nindy Ayunda's youngest daughter named Akifa in June 2021. At that time, CCTV footage circulated when Lia was suspected of pulling Akifa's hand and hitting her head.

Then, as a result of the incident, Nindy Ayunda reported Lia Karyati for alleged violence. Lia has now been declared a suspect and detained at the Pondok Bambu Detention Center, East Jakarta.
