"As legal counsel representing Muhammad Rizky Pahlevi, we request clarification and the fulfillment of the right to correction and right of reply to the news. Some media have aired news that is suspected of defaming his good name by publishing news leading to opinion and accusing the client of being the perpetrator of spreading pornographic videos, even being mentioned as a suspect," said Sugeng Teguh Santoso as quoted from a text message received by KapanLagi.com, Monday (29/5/2023).

Due to the coverage, Muhammad Rizky Pahlevi felt that his dignity and reputation had been attacked. This could result in character assassination for something his client did not do.
"As a result of the media coverage, the client feels that his dignity and reputation have been attacked, which could result in character assassination. Therefore, as the client's legal counsel, we protest to the media to retract their statements," said Sugeng Teguh Santoso.
