Formerly Neighbors with Raffi Ahmad, 10 Photos of Randi Sapta, Former Drummer of Repvblic, Who Switched Careers to Become a Tailor - Earned 300 Million from Children's Clothes

Randi Sapta, former drummer of the band Repvblik, has completely changed his path. He has left his fame as a band member and is now involved in the garment industry.

More specifically, Randy is currently pursuing his new business as a tailor. Read more here!

Randi had carefully considered his decision to leave the band that had nurtured him for a long time, and eventually left Repvblic in 2017.

The main reason is because of family. During his time as a band member, he admitted to often leaving his wife and children behind. "I left my family a lot, so I thought 'being an entrepreneur might be nice' so I can be closer to my family and find more comfort when spending more time with them," he said.

After deciding to become an entrepreneur, Randi admitted that his life changed drastically. He used to be neighbors with Raffi Ahmad, but now he has moved to a village.

"I shifted my life and business to the outskirts because ever since I left the band, my income has decreased, because my business started from scratch," he added.

"That's also what made me choose to do business here because it's not as expensive as Jakarta, and I can still reach it from my current income," he continued.

Although admitting to facing difficulties during the transition from being a band member to a businessman, in the end, Randi and his wife now have their own clothing brand called ERDANS 13.

Despite the initial challenges of diving into this business, he now claims to have a factory and employees who have contributed to his business along with his wife.

Currently, the business that he started from scratch and has been tested after going through the COVID-19 pandemic can generate profits of hundreds of million rupiahs, far greater than his income when he was in a band.

"Has sold 500 pcs in 2 hours, around 15 million per month. Gross revenue of 200-300 million for the branch itself is far from the income of the band's children before, that's why we can buy this place in cash," he concluded.

He also hopes that his clothing brand can be known throughout Indonesia. He also added that ERDANS 13 could become the market leader in children's clothing manufacturers in the country. Hopefully Randi Sapta's story can inspire KLovers! :)
