In addition to selling cassava, which remains one of his sources of income, receiving gifts during Tiktok Live Streaming has also become a promising source of income for him now.

When met at the Sepatan market in Tangerang on Tuesday (23/1), Arya claimed that he can now earn millions of rupiah from one hour of Live Tiktok. Unlike before, when he first started as a streamer, Arya only earned less than 200 thousand rupiah.

However, no matter how much money he receives from virtual gifts, it is not the main focus for Arya Khan. For him, the most important thing during live streaming is to entertain his fans or followers.

"In a day, when we go live, the main goal is to entertain the audience, not to respond to the amount of virtual gifts received," said Arya Khan.

"Regarding the big or small virtual gifts, there are people who manage it. Initially, I received 200 thousand and it keeps increasing up to one million. Alhamdulillah, it keeps growing," he continued.

2. Fulfilling Audience Challenges

When asked further, the gifts or virtual gifts received during live broadcasts are obtained by fulfilling challenges from the audience. He must fulfill these challenges so that the audience who gives gifts will not be disappointed.

"If there are challenges that involve doing something dirty but entertaining, or if someone throws virtual gifts at us, we will do the challenges for the sake of the audience, so that their virtual gifts are not in vain," he said.

3. Tuai Pro Kontra

In addition, Arya does not deny that his routine activities of live broadcasting on Tiktok often receive both positive and negative feedback from netizens. He even frequently receives negative comments, but Arya himself does not care about it.

"There will always be people who don't like it. We don't have to please everyone, it's normal to have people who don't like it. We have to be prepared for the risks, but out of 100, 90 like it and 10 don't, it's normal not to care," he concluded.
