Free from Prison, Reza Doesn't Create a Community for Former Drug Users

Kapanlagi.com - Reza Bukan is currently enjoying the happy moments after getting married to a pastor named Serevina Silaen on Sunday (29/9) last week. Their blessing ceremony was held privately and attended only by close friends.

As is known, Reza has recently been released from prison in August 2020 for drug abuse. So what are Reza's plans for the future?

"Certainly, my future plans are my responsibility because I feel indebted to God, I want to create a community. It's already called Temu Jiwa. So we want all these souls to come together to rise, to recover, especially those who are drug users, to repent and rise together," said Reza when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (29/9).

1. Interfaith Community for Former Drug Users

Reza wants to collaborate with those who have been involved in drug cases to recover together by strengthening their spirituality.

"Because drug addiction is the same disease, one will definitely fall again unconsciously under their subconscious mind and can use drugs again depending on their environment and spiritual state. That's why I really want to create a community regardless of religion or social status, to heal together and rise together because God blesses everyone, regardless of their religion," added the 39-year-old man.

2. Not Thinking about Having Children

Reza himself doesn't think about having children with Serevina. As known, the star of the program Benteng Takeshi Indonesia already has 2 children from a previous marriage. Meanwhile, Serevina also has a child from her previous husband.

"Having children is not our focus anymore, because I already have 2 and Sere already has 1 boy, it's complete and enough. Now our focus is on serving. So serving is not only in the Church, but it's also about experiencing the greatness of God," concluded Reza.
