Ibn Jamil was directly involved in the funeral procession of his mother. He went down to the grave to perform the call to prayer and the iqamah for the body before it was covered with earth. Once it was covered with earth, Ibn Jamil appeared strong but occasionally he also cried seeing his mother's burial.

The moment of scattering flowers and prayers was increasingly touching for everyone present. The sadness was deeply felt, especially for Ririn Ekawati who could not hold back her tears during the funeral. Ririn Ekawati could not contain her tears when she saw her mother-in-law being buried.

Ibnu Jamil's mother, Tarwiyah binti H. Tarmuji, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at around 6:30 PM WIB. The sad news was first conveyed by Ririn Ekawati's assistant, Indra Tri Yudha, and was shared again by Ibnu and Ririn through their Instagram stories.

"The deceased passed away on Tuesday the 14th at around half past 6 actually. After I finished the maghrib prayer, she was indeed suffering from diabetes and had been taken to the hospital, she seemed to improve, then suddenly dropped when taken to the hospital, it turned out she was already gone," said Ibnu Jamil.

Ibnu Jamil also reminisced about the last message and premonition from his mother. As a mother, Tarwiyah always loved seeing her family gathered, especially with her grandchildren.

"As for the premonition, when it comes to parents, especially when they are sick, the intensity of wanting to meet is quite high, they are happiest when they meet. Taking care of their younger siblings, taking care of their family, taking care of their wife, children, and grandchildren," he said.

Tarwiyah is a figure who enjoys moments of family togetherness even in noisy and crowded situations. For her, happiness lies in the laughter and jokes shared with her children and grandchildren.

"She is happiest when she sees her children and grandchildren getting along. That’s what she misses the most, which is why she loves it when everyone gathers at her house, even though it can be noisy sometimes, even while doing something, but she still enjoys joking with her grandchildren," she concluded.

Ibnu Jamil still looks very devastated by the passing of his mother. Several friends, such as Rangga Ilham and Dafa Wardhana, have also supported him.
