The preacher from Riau, Ustaz Abdul Somad, made a surprising confession when he met Duta from Sheila on 7. In the video he shared, UAS sincerely admitted that he has long idolized the vocalist named Akhdiyat Duta Modjo.
Before revealing who he met, UAS first gave a hint to netizens. He sang a snippet of a song by Sheila on 7 to make his fans guess who the figure was with him. In the video, he said, “Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, I am meeting someone I have dreamed of for a long time. Guess who I am meeting. I’ll give you a clue.” This statement added to the public's curiosity.
After the puzzle was presented, UAS finally revealed the figure of Duta Sheila on 7 in the video. UAS's facial expression looked cheerful as if his long-held dream had finally come true.
Not only was he a special guest, but UAS was also warmly welcomed by Duta in Yogyakarta. In their brief conversation, Duta mentioned the cold weather in the city. "Assalamualaikum, welcome to Jogja UAS. It's been cold in Jogja these past two days," said Duta.
The meeting did not stop at just face-to-face interaction, as Duta also shared his impressions in the comments section of UAS's post. He felt grateful to meet the renowned preacher in person.
“I am very grateful for the opportunity to meet UAS in person for the first time. And I hope this will be the beginning of many beautiful meetings to come, Insha Allah. Always healthy, Tuan Guru,” wrote Duta. The message received a lot of appreciation.
