Funny Story of Regina Ivanova's Introduction to Future Husband, Admitting to Liking First But Not Reciprocated

When met at her residence on Tuesday (13/10/2020), Regina shared the story of her introduction to Lucky. They were introduced in mid-2016 when attending a church conference in Asia.

"We coincidentally met at the same church, he was from a church in Jakarta, and I was from Bekasi. In 2016, our church held an Asia conference in Bali. At that time, he was the stage manager for the church event, and I was singing as usual," said Regina.

1. Love at First Sight

Regina met Lucky, who is two years younger, when he handed her the microphone. That's when the singer of the song 'Kemenangan' (Victory) felt love at first sight, unfortunately, it was not reciprocated.

"It all started when he gave me a microphone for GR (Gladi Resik). I thought to myself, 'Wow, he's handsome'. At first, he didn't like me, but I liked him hahaha," said Regina while laughing.

2. Regina Once Felt Uncomfortable

But later on, time brought them closer. Interestingly, when Lucky started to feel attracted, Regina Ivanova, on the other hand, felt uncomfortable or lost her feeling.

"In September 2016, we started talking and getting to know each other better. Ironically, I was the one who felt uncomfortable, while he liked me. Long story short, we started dating in August 2017, and on August 20, 2020, he proposed to me. We officially got engaged last October 10," concluded the 33-year-old woman.
