Gary Iskak Never Consumed Drugs Again, Lawyer: Gary Didn't Know There Was Sabu at the Scene

Kapanlagi.com - After being arrested by the West Java Police for drug cases, Gary Iskak now has to undergo rehabilitation. He was not alone, at that time Gary was arrested along with four other people.

After the arrest, Gary Iskak's lawyer, Antonny Mextrada, revealed the actual chronology of his client's arrest. He said that at that time Gary Iskak came to the place for work purposes and claimed not to know that there was sabu at the scene.

"At that time, Gerry and his assistant were there because they were invited by one of their colleagues for work purposes. There were already three other people there, and Gary didn't know that there was sabu at the TKP," said Antonny Mextrada at a press conference in the Pesanggrahan area, South Jakarta, (31/5) Tuesday night.

His lawyer said that at the time, Gary Iskak saw thick smoke in the room and of course, he inhaled it. Shortly after, the West Java Regional Police investigators raided the place and arrested everyone on the scene along with the evidence, then conducted a urine test on Gary Iskak and four others.

"Indeed, Gary saw the remaining thick smoke, and perhaps that was the smoke he inhaled when he entered the room and saw the smoking device in the corner of the room," said Antonny Mextrada.

"Then, after 30 minutes of talking about work, the West Java Regional Police investigators came and arrested everyone on the scene along with the evidence, then conducted a urine test," he continued.

2. Passive User

After the urine test, the results showed that all of them were positive for drug use. However, Gary Iskak did not consume the illegal substance but was considered a passive user because he had inhaled too much smoke in the room.

"The results of Gary's and the others' urine tests were positive for drug use. But it is possible, and we have confirmed with a doctor, that if someone in a room uses drugs in the form of smoke or other forms, and they stay in the room for a long time inhaling it, it can cause a positive urine test result," he concluded.
