Gary Iskak Rehabilitated by BNNP After Being Arrested for Drug Abuse

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Gary Iskak and four of his colleagues were arrested by the police for alleged drug abuse involving crystal meth on Monday (23/5/2022). Currently, Gary Iskak and his four colleagues have been named as suspects.

This was revealed by the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo, when contacted on Monday (30/5/2022).

"They have been named as suspects according to Article 56 of Law No. 35/2009 on narcotics, which allows for assessment of the suspects," Ibrahim told reporters via text message on Monday (30/5/2022).

Based on the Narcotics Law article 56, suspects who are caught with evidence of less than 1 gram are assessed. The conclusion was that Gary and his four friends are also victims. Therefore, Gary Iskak and his four friends will also undergo rehabilitation at the National Narcotics Agency of West Java Province (BNNP).

"Therefore, according to the results of the assessment, it is concluded that the five suspects are victims of drug trafficking. Therefore, the five suspects are handed over to the BNNP for rehabilitation," he said.

2. Not the First Time

It was previously known that Gary Iskak was arrested at a house on Pasir Putih Street, Bandung City, on Monday (23/5/2022). He was not alone, as the D'Bijis film actor was arrested with four of his friends.

From the urine test results, Gary Iskak and his four friends were found to be positive for using methamphetamine. This is not the first time Gary Iskak has had problems with drugs. In 2007, Gary Iskak was also caught in a similar case with possession of 0.3 grams of methamphetamine.
