Geisha Vocalist Regina Poetiray First Time Treated in Hospital, Immediately Undergoes Surgery

Kapanlagi.com - Regina Poetiray, the vocalist of the band Geisha, has just undergone surgery due to a ligament injury to her ankle at RS Murni Teguh Sudirman Jakarta, Tuesday (25/7/2023).

Although the surgery has been completed, Regina is still in the recovery stage and admits that her condition has improved.

"Now, of course, the condition is getting better, the leg is already fine, it's still in recovery, still numb, so I don't feel anything," said Regina Poetiray to Kapanlagi.com, Tuesday (25/7/2023).

"The surgery went in at 9 o'clock, and I arrived back in the room at half past one, so it took quite a long time. But, the actual surgery only took an hour, I just had to wait until I regained consciousness for quite a long time," she said.

1. First Time Being Treated in a Hospital

Regina admitted feeling nervous when she wanted to enter the operating room. This is because it is her first time undergoing treatment in a hospital and immediately undergoing surgery.

"(Before the surgery) I was extremely nervous because this is my first time entering a hospital, becoming a patient and immediately undergoing surgery, receiving an infusion for the first time," she said.

2. Smooth Operation

Nevertheless, the 23-year-old singer admitted that the process of ankle ligament injury surgery went smoothly.

"But it's safe, thank God it went smoothly," she said.

3. Undergoing Recovery Period

Regina Poetiray is currently still undergoing recovery in the hospital for the next four days. Regina admitted that until today, Friday (25/7), the members of Geisha band have not visited her directly in the hospital.

"(The Geisha friends) haven't, maybe today or maybe tomorrow they will come," Regina concluded.
