Get Many Scenes in the Film 'MOHON DOA RESTU', Sarah Sechan Feels Like Christine Hakim

Only through the film MOHON DOA RESTU, she became a supporting actress and got many scenes. Jokingly, she feels like senior actress Christine Hakim.

"It turns out that playing a film (scene) for more than three minutes feels like this. Before, I didn't feel it. It used to feel like being an artist, but now I feel like being Christine Hakim's mother, but not," said Sarah when met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, Monday (23/10/2023).

1. Acting with Friends

In the film MOHON DOA RESTU directed by Ody Harahap, Sarah Sechan shares the screen with her friend, actor Cut Mini. She expresses her joy in being united with someone who has accompanied her in building her career from the bottom.

"Mini and I have been friends for a long time, from the beginning when we were paid 250 thousand per episode. I'm happy that I finally got the chance to act together with her," said Sarah.

"We have been friends for a long time. That's how my life is with Sarah, a genuine friendship that is depicted in the film," added Cut Mini on the same occasion.

2. The Threat of Close-Up Shots

During the shooting process, Sarah Sechan and Cut Mini always liven up the atmosphere with endless banter. Sometimes, Ody Harahap has to restrain them by threatening to take close-up shots of their faces on camera.

"Shooting with them is 'disruptive'. I mean, shooting can be tiring, but not for them. Stopping them from talking is a bit troublesome. The only threat is not to go too far or else I'll do a close-up shot. Once it's a close-up, they will be trapped in continuity. It's safer that way. If they start getting too wild, the threat is a close-up shot because they are afraid," recalled Ody Harahap.
