Getting Married for the Second Time, Ustad Taqy Malik Admits to Being Happier

When met in Toman, West Jakarta, on Monday (12/21), he admitted to being happier in his new marriage. Not only that, his happiness has grown because his wife is currently learning to memorize the Quran.

"Alhamdulillah, now I feel an extraordinary happiness. It has been 3 months and it turns out that happiness is growing because my wife is learning more about religion, delving deeper, and even memorizing the Quran. I feel a lot of happiness now," said Taqy Malik.

Taqy Malik, who got to know his wife through taaruf, also admitted that he doesn't mind the differences in opinions between him and Sherel Thalib. In fact, he believes that those differences complement their married life.

"We must accept those differences, and it is those differences that will complete our perfection in marriage. It depends on how the couple accepts it," he said.

Furthermore, Taqy Malik also doesn't deny that he was surprised when starting married life again. However, he accepts it, and both he and his wife will learn together.

"Surprises are inevitable, but we have to accept them. We both have to learn," he concluded.
