Kapanlagi.com - A few days ago, Aurel Hermansyah shared a photo on Instagram showing her holding a bouquet of edelweiss flowers given by Atta Halilintar. The photo, which was taken against the backdrop of Mount Bromo, received many comments criticizing it from netizens.

According to them, edelweiss should not be picked as it is a protected flower. When asked about it, Atta admitted that he did not know that the flowers he bought were edelweiss.

"Well, I didn't know (the type of flower). There was a man who asked for help: 'Please help me, help me'. I asked how much for a bunch, he said 40 thousand, so I bought two because he said 'Please help me, I want to eat, haven't eaten, and so on'," Atta said when met at Djakarta Theatre, Thamrin area, Central Jakarta, on Monday (14/6/2021).

Atta Halilintar is not surprised when Aurel Hermansyah's photo post with her edelweiss gift went viral. Because every week, whatever he and his wife do often become public attention.

"Oh well, I'm not surprised anymore because everything goes viral, every week viral. So I don't know what's true. I'm not a perfect human, I make a lot of mistakes, so if there's any mistake, please forgive me," said Atta.

However, it turns out that the immortal flowers are legally sold in the village of Wonokitri, not far from there. In fact, Wonokitri has been officially designated as an edelweiss tourist village that sells cultivated flowers with a price of Rp20 thousand.
