Kapanlagi.com - Roy Marten also responded to the romantic life of his son, Gading Marten, who is still comfortable being single after divorcing Gisella Anastasia. Roy admitted that he has asked his son about this several times.

As a father, Roy expressed his desire to see Gading rebuild a family. However, he understands his son's decision to feel comfortable living alone.

"I always ask as a parent, because of age too, right, 'Nyo, when?', 'Later, Dad, still comfortable being alone'. If he answers like that, we can't force him, right?" said Roy Marten when met in the Mampang area on Friday (23/5/2025).

He added that he cannot pressure his children too much regarding love matters, including questioning Gading's considerations about Gempi. "Oh, I don't know, I should ask Gading. I don't know why he still wants to be single," said Roy.

Even so, Roy still respects Gading's decision and praises his maturity alongside Gisel in raising their child, Gempi.

"First, I appreciate it. I value Gading and Gisel's attitude in educating their child. When a divorce doesn't mean they are hostile, it doesn't mean they distance themselves from each other, but rather they work together to raise the child. I think this is a positive attitude, so that the child does not feel too abandoned," he explained.

Roy himself admitted that he rarely communicates with Gisel, but still maintains a good relationship as a family. "There is no communication, except when we meet at, for example, Gading's place. Yes, it's good, we remain good, our family remains good. Please pray for us," he said.

Regarding Gisel's relationship with another man, Roy stated that he respects every life choice of his former daughter-in-law. "Yes, Gisel, she has the right to determine the direction of her life, to choose her partner. She is still young, and yes, as her parent, I hope she finds the best partner," said Roy.
