Kapanlagi.com - Gus Miftah collaborated with entrepreneur Gilang Widya Pramana and Shandy Purnamasari to give donations to thousands of Little Friends (students who are cared for by Gus Miftah) and break the fast together at the Ora Aji Islamic Boarding School, Sleman, Yogyakarta, on Saturday (9/4/2022).
The donation event was attended by the three of them and several famous singers who enlivened the event by singing several songs, such as Vicky Shu, Woro Widowati, and Ndarboy Genk.
"So, a week ago I met Mas Gilang and we talked, he asked what event we were going to hold for Ramadan. I said I have an annual donation event with 'little friends'. He immediately responded let's do it together," said Gus Miftah at his boarding school, Ora Aji, Sleman, Jogja (9/4/2022).
For Gilang, who is nicknamed Juragan 99, giving donations to those in need is a routine activity. Therefore, he did not hesitate when invited to collaborate by Gus Miftah.
"Because donations for Little Friends have become a tradition for us. Especially in Ramadan. Assistance is not only about money, but also support," said the man who is also often called Crazy Rich Malang.

For Shandy Purnamasari, Gilang's wife, the charity event made her emotional. Usually, she doesn't directly distribute aid to those in need.
This time, she directly distributed envelopes filled with money to thousands of Little Friends.
"Today is the first time we've given aid to many children, about 1,500 in an open field. Usually, it's just symbolic. I'm really happy to be able to give directly to the children. I can be close to them," she said.

In the event, before distributing aid, Gilang and Shandy shared inspirational stories in front of thousands of Little Friends. They talked about how they struggled in the past before achieving success.
"In the past, even paying the electricity bill was difficult," said Gilang, which was agreed upon by Shandy Purnamasari.

According to Gilang, becoming a successful, wealthy, and useful person for others has been his dream since childhood. That's what motivates him to work hard to achieve his dreams.
"(To become successful) there are many dreams. Since I was a child, I had many dreams of wanting to be successful and useful. And when I met Shandy, the ladder to success was achieved," said Gilang.
