Give Money to Garbage Collectors, Baim Wong is Mistaken for a Thief

On Tuesday (12/5/2020), the husband of Paula Verhoeven once again disguised himself to help a garbage collector in a complex. Baim disguised himself as an officer complete with a uniform and a messy wig. To perfect his disguise, Baim wore a mask.

1. Chatting with Garbage Collectors

Baim then invited the garbage collector who was carrying out his duties. He asked about salary, family, and the activities of the garbage collector. From there, Baim knew that the salary of the garbage collector was Rp 1.5 million per month, obtained from the residents' contributions.

Baim then carried out his action by giving the garbage collector several Rp 50,000 banknotes. The garbage collector was hesitant, but Baim said that the money came from mosque donations that had been distributed to those in need.

2. Initially Afraid

Baim continued to chat to learn more about the life of the garbage collector, who was later known as Agung and came from Lampung and had been living in Jakarta for almost three years. Baim then took out more money to give to Agung.

Agung then refused because he was worried that the money came from something bad. In fact, he intended to return the money he had received earlier because he was afraid of Baim's intentions, which he thought were that of a thief.

3. Praised Baim

Baim finally revealed his disguise and showed several cameras that had been recording them. Agung started to look calm even though he admitted that he didn't know who the artist in front of him was.

Baim then praised Agung, whom he considered very kind, and even asked him to send greetings to his family in Lampung. Baim then found out that Agung's younger sibling was sick. Upon hearing that, he added money for the treatment, but Agung initially refused and eventually accepted after being forced.
