Glenn Fredly Doesn't Want to Bother Others, Asks Tompi to Keep His Illness a Secret

Kapanlagi.com - Glenn Fredly passed away on Wednesday (8/4/2020), taking his last breath at the age of 44. It is known that Glenn passed away due to complications from meningitis.

Previously, Tompi was asked to keep his illness a secret so as not to bother others. This was explained by Tompi during the funeral ceremony held at Sumber Kasih Lebak Bulus Church, South Jakarta, as reported by Kompas.com.

"When he was sick, please don't tell people at home, I don't want to bother others," said Tompi.

1. Tompi Unable to Hold Back Tears

Losing a good musician made Tompi unable to hold back tears when saying goodbye to Glenn Fredly's body. Tompi couldn't bear it and had to wipe away his tears to give his last respect.

"Since last night, I've been trying to find out what went wrong, he was too good. Always putting others before himself," said Tompi in an Instagram post @bumientertainment.

2. Passed Away at 6 PM

In addition, Glenn passed away at 6 PM due to meningitis, as explained by the late musician's family.

"We lost (Glenn Fredly) at 18:47 WIB. As for the reason, the hospital has provided an explanation, which is meningitis complications. So, if there is any other news or information, there isn't," said Aldy, Glenn's cousin as quoted from Kompas.com.
