Going Through the Toughest Ramadan, Inara Rusli Chooses to Face Life's Trials with Sincerity

Inara Rusli is currently going through a quite tough phase during this year's fasting month. The former wife of Virgoun admits that this Ramadan feels very challenging for her due to coinciding with various ongoing legal issues.

Despite having to face a difficult situation, she strives to perform her worship as best as possible. This condition is experienced by Inara amidst legal proceedings regarding allegations of adultery reported by Wardatina Mawa at the end of 2025. Here are the details.

Behind the existing pressure, this mother of three tries to stay calm and seek wisdom from every event. For her, difficult moments like this are actually God's way of showing who the sincere people are that stand by her.

"I have experienced heavy Ramadans about three times in my life. The first heavy Ramadan was when I lost my father. The second heavy Ramadan was when I first went through Ramadan as a single mother. The third Ramadan is this one," said Inara Rusli in the Tebet area, South Jakarta, on Monday (16/3/2026).

Currently, Inara feels that her emotions are much more at ease compared to when the problems first arose. She feels very grateful because there are still many people who provide her with moral support. This has been acknowledged as an additional strength for her to remain standing tall even when faced with a storm of problems that drain her energy.

"But now it’s calmer, more sincere, right? Alhamdulillah. Because there are many who support me as well. Yes, so indeed the problems actually have their wisdom. One of them is that we can see more clearly who are the people who truly support and pray for us, and believe in us," she said.

Inara also shared her experience when she realized that some people in her circle of friends started to distance themselves from her since she faced problems. Instead of feeling hate or excessive disappointment, she actually used this as a moment for self-reflection. This incident made her realize that moving forward, she needs to be more careful in trusting others around her. "Yes, definitely. It serves as a reflection for myself to be more, well, selective," Inara said.

Welcoming the upcoming Idul Fitri holiday, Inara does not have many extravagant requests to God. She only hopes that all the patience she has endured during this difficult time can serve as a way to erase her past sins. She wants to welcome the day of victory with a heart that is much cleaner and calmer, without holding any grudges.

"The hope that sins are forgiven, God willing. God willing, with a more open heart to accept what has happened, may it be the reason for the forgiveness of all sins and the fulfillment of all prayers and hopes," concluded Inara Rusli.
