Behind the sad news of the passing of Rocker Kasarunk's drummer, Christian Wibisono or Ian, lies a heartbreaking story about the last moments of his struggle. His friend, Ricky Tebo, witnessed the crucial moment that occurred at Fatmawati Hospital, just before Ian took his last breath.

Ricky recounted that Ian's condition was already critical when he was to be transferred to the ICU on Tuesday afternoon (17/03/2026). During the transfer process, there was a brief moment when Ian's oxygen tank had to be removed to be replaced with a portable tank. Here are the details.

The moment that lasted only a few seconds turned out to have a very fatal impact on Ian, who suffered from lung cancer.

"Because it’s his lungs, so losing oxygen for just one or three seconds really affects him, you know," said Ricky Tebo when contacted by the media via phone on Tuesday (03/17/2026).

When he returned to the room, Ricky was shocked by the condition of his friend, who was no longer responsive. He saw a sight he would never forget. "When I entered, I saw Ian's eyes were already rolled back," he said with a trembling voice.

The atmosphere turned panicked, especially since it coincided with the time to break the fast, making the hospital quite chaotic. After being successfully moved to the ICU, Ian's condition was already very weak. The medical team had offered to perform cardiac pumping to the family.

However, the wife made the difficult decision not to continue the medical treatment. She did not want her husband to feel pain any longer.

"Ian's wife has made the right decision; she doesn't want Ian, the late, to feel any more pain. So, it's done, and she has let go," explained Ricky.

Not long after that, precisely at 18:38 WIB, Christian Wibisono passed away peacefully. The wife's decision became the final act of love, allowing her husband to go without enduring further pain.
