Graduating from a University in New York, Dewi Yull's Son Achieves Cum Laude Honor

Kapanlagi.com - Dewi Yull shared the good news on her personal instagram account on Saturday (9/5). In her post, Dewi Yull revealed her son's achievement, Surya Sahetapy, who successfully graduated from a university in New York.

Not only graduating, what makes Dewi Yull even prouder is that Surya achieved cum laude honors at his campus.

"Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah. I am blessed during Ramadan. Thanks to the prayers and support from my extended family and friends. My third child, @suryasahetapy, has completed an Associate of Science in Applied Liberal Arts - Immeraions: ASL & Dead Studies with a Cum Laude honor (a different system compared to Indonesia's D3) at Rochester Institute of Technology New York," wrote Dewi Yull.

1. Struggling to Complete S1

Although he has completed his education with a satisfactory predicate, Surya Sahetapy still has to struggle to finish his undergraduate studies.

"Still one more year of struggle, In sha Allah, to complete his S1 education. Everything is by the permission of Allah. It's still the beginning of the struggle. I ask for the prayers of all friends," explained the woman born on May 10, 1961.

2. Surya's Educational Journey

In the same post, Dewi Yull also uploaded notes about Surya Sahetapy's educational journey from elementary school to plans for the coming year 2021.

Apparently, Surya has been declared graduated and earned a cum laude degree since December 2019. However, he was only officially graduated this May 2020.
