Graduating from College, Prilly Latuconsina Shares Her Struggle in Writing Her Thesis

Kapanlagi.com - The happiness is being felt by Prilly Latuconsina who has just achieved a Bachelor's degree in Communication Science. On her Instagram account, she shared the moment of celebration after her thesis defense.

Studying while being busy with shooting and managing a business is certainly not an easy thing. Prilly Latuconsina shared her struggle for 3.5 years to graduate on time.

"It was a really long struggle, three and a half years of studying while shooting and managing a business. It wasn't an easy journey for me. Because honestly, it's really difficult to divide the time. But I really have to give my best. Because when I decided to go to college, I had to be ready for the consequences," said Prilly Latuconsina during a virtual interview on Tuesday (24/8).

1. Not Sleeping for Two Days

While working on her thesis, the film star DANUR truly sacrificed her resting time. She even once did not sleep for two days.

"Well, during the thesis part, I was really busy shooting, shooting a series every day, really stressed out, really had no time to rest, I even didn't sleep for two days," said Prilly Latuconsina.

"I don't think anyone could handle it if they see me. Because I'm not really healthy, don't actually follow my example. Because I sacrificed a lot of sleep time. Because shooting from morning to morning. Then sometimes during shooting breaks, I don't take the breaks, I use them to work on my thesis. And sometimes, even after coming home, I continue working on my thesis," she continued.

2. Almost Wanting to Give Up

Although she was enthusiastic about working on her thesis, there were times when Prilly Latuconsina felt tired and even wanted to give up. However, she remembered her struggles.

"It's a lie if my mood is always on fire while working on the thesis. There are times when I cry a lot because I'm really exhausted. My method is qualitative and I have to interview seven people. So I have to follow their schedules. So I really empty my time to interview them," said Prilly.

"So there were really moments when I cried a lot and wanted to give up. But I look back at my journey three years ago when I really wanted to continue my studies," she added.

3. Satisfying Results

Now all of his efforts have not been in vain. Prilly Latuconsina is very grateful because she has obtained satisfying results and graduated with cum laude predicate.

"During the defense, everything went smoothly and getting good results made me really happy. Finally, all the sacrifices, time, and energy paid off well. Alhamdulillah, so far, the cumulative GPA is cum laude. And the thesis result is also Alhamdulillah, an A. Let's see during graduation, to make it official," she concluded.
