Gus Anom Wants to Report Back, Yadi Sembako Admits Guilt and Refuses to Follow Suit

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Yadi Sembako does not want to follow Gus Anom's plan to report back against Muhammad Adri Permana, the event organizer (EO) who has reported him for fraud and embezzlement.

Although his reputation has been tarnished due to the report made by the EO, Yadi realizes that he is guilty in the matter. "He (Gus Anom) stated that he wants to report back to clear his name. I apologize, but I can't go in that direction. We are the ones at fault. Adri has carried out the event, he has been chased by vendors. (If we want to report back) Where is the logic?" said Yadi Sembako at the South Tangerang Metro Police Station on Wednesday (10/11/2023).

Yadi even understands Adri's action of reporting him to the police for allegations of fraud and embezzlement. However, Yadi continued, it should be known that when organizing the event on August 24, Gus Anom as the Commissioner of PT Gudang Artis stated that he would take full responsibility for the event, starting from the obligation to pay the performing artists to the event organizer.

"Gus Anom will be responsible for paying the artists, including the event organizer. I have his written statement and I have already handed it over to the investigator," he said.

If Gus Anom continues to fail to show his responsibility, Yadi Sembako stated that he is ready to take responsibility and will bear it according to his ability. He is even willing to sell his house.

"I will take responsibility if there is no resolution from Gus Anom," said Yadi Sembako.

2. Yadi Sembako Case

For your information, Yadi Sembako and Gus Anom were reported by Muhammad Adri Permana, the event organizer, for alleged fraud and embezzlement on September 12, 2023 under Articles 372 and 378 of the Criminal Code.

The report was made after Yadi Sembako and Gus Anom gave a blank check worth IDR 198 million to the event organizer after holding a company launching event created by Gus Anom, namely PT Gudang Artis, on August 24, 2023.
