Hanung Bramantyo Suffers from Pinched Nerves for Four Years, Early Symptoms and Causes Revealed

Kapanlagi.com - Director Hanung Bramantyo is known to have just undergone surgery to treat his pinched nerves. He chose to have the operation because the pain he was experiencing was greatly affecting his daily activities.

When met at Plaza Senayan, South Jakarta, on Thursday afternoon (20/1), Hanung explained the initial symptoms of his illness. He also said that the pain initially healed, but because he was not careful, the pain recurred.

"Because I often type and use my phone, suddenly my fingers started tingling. This made me panic and eventually I went to the doctor, who suggested an MRI, but it was expensive, so I had an x-ray instead, although it was not as detailed as an MRI," said Hanung Bramantyo.

After undergoing an X-ray procedure, Hanung started therapy. He wore a polar neck but unfortunately, his disease relapsed after exercising.

"Well, the recommendation from the X-ray results was therapy, using a polar neck. But I recovered just because I got better and got carried away, so I started exercising, the exercise was reckless, and it relapsed," he continued.

2. Starting From a Diet

In addition, Hanung mentioned that he has been suffering from pinched nerves for four years. But when he finished his diet, once again his disease relapsed.

"It has been hurting since 4 years ago. When shooting HABIBI AINUN 3, I was already using a polar neck. When I was on a diet and lost weight, it relapsed," he said.

3. Making Wife Worried

Certainly, Zaskia Adya Mecca is worried about her husband's safety during the operation. However, after knowing all the safe procedures, Zaskia can breathe a sigh of relief.

"Initially, I panicked and protested because many said that failed cases were common in operations, but that's the old procedure. Now it's different," said Zaskia Adya Mecca.

Zaskia also believes that the operation is the best option for her husband's recovery. Now she feels relieved after her husband successfully recovered.

"Well, I was still worried because there was a significant tear in Mas Hanung's neck, but after the operation, it turned out that this was the right decision for Mas Hanung," she added.
