The loss of the late Vidi Aldiano still leaves profound grief for family and close friends. One figure who is considered to have been the most loyal companion to Vidi during his difficult times is Deddy Corbuzier. The two were indeed known to be very close through a popular talk show program on YouTube.

Harry Kiss, Vidi Aldiano's father, gave high praise to Deddy Corbuzier. According to him, Deddy is not just a coworker or an ordinary friend, but a true friend who truly understands his son's struggle in facing the illness he suffered from.

"Incredible. Uncle Deddy is Vidi's friend who I think knows the most about Vidi's condition. The others are entertainers. So the other friends, his circle, are entertainment for Vidi. That's actually what keeps Vidi going. But Uncle Deddy is truly amazing," said Harry Kiss when met at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, Wednesday (25/3/2026).

The closeness between Vidi and Deddy is often seen on screen, but behind all that, Deddy's support is much deeper. Harry finds it hard to express in words how grateful the family is to the mentalist.

"Yes Uncle Ded, I find it hard to explain but from the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you Uncle Ded for being so good to Vidi, for understanding Vidi so well. And yes, it's all quite funny," said Harry Kiss.

Until now, Harry Kiss admits that he still often watches reruns of the program hosted by his child alongside Deddy. For him, seeing Vidi's joy on that screen becomes one way to entertain himself from sadness.

"For me, scrolling through Podhub right now is my entertainment every Saturday. Right? When we watch Podhub, we forget the problems of the world, we are happy there," he expressed.

Harry also reminisces about how the podcast started without a complicated plan. Vidi's spirit to keep creating even while being sick seems to be a strength for those around him.

"I don’t know, but the point is after it started, there was no theme, nothing. So, when asked what the theme is? 'I don’t know'," concluded Harry Kiss.
