The divorce trial of Irish Bella and Ammar Zoni is still ongoing at the Depok Religious Court, West Java. On the other hand, Ammar Zoni himself wants to maintain their marriage despite his current situation.
Irish Bella's lawyer, Nurul Amalia, speaks out about Ammar Zoni's desire to save their marriage. She stated that her client remains committed to the initial lawsuit, which is to divorce Ammar Zoni.
"Because we are the plaintiff, we will stick to the lawsuit and want to continue the divorce process," said Nurul Amalia at the Religious Court of Depok, West Java, on Thursday (11/1/2024).
"As for the defendant, it's up to them and their principles. Whether they want to get divorced or defend the marriage," she added.
Meanwhile, the trial has been postponed to next week because the witness presented by Ammar Zoni's side did not appear in court.
In the next hearing, Nurul Amalia could not confirm the presence of Irish Bella in the trial. Considering that the trial only heard testimony from Ammar Zoni as a witness.
"It seems not because it was not requested since this is a witness trial, especially as a defendant's witness. So it is not mandatory to attend, even if she wants to attend, it seems not," he said.
As known, since Ammar Zoni was named a suspect and detained, Irish Bella has been determined to divorce Ammar Zoni.
