Having a History of Gastric Acid Disease, the Family Noticed Unusual Signs from Taufik Lala Before Passing Away

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Taufik Hidayat, or better known as Taufik Lala, was buried in TPU Munjul, East Jakarta, on Thursday (27/9). Rizki Hasan, Taufik Lala's brother-in-law, revealed the chronology of his brother's death. He said that before passing away, Taufik Lala went cycling.

"At 11.00, he was on his bicycle and then stopped by a bicycle repair shop. He rested there, and there was a mosque next to the shop. He rested, chatted with his friends there, and discussed about death," said Rizki Hasan at TPU Munjul, on Thursday (27/7).

"At 12.00, he wanted to drink water, but when he was offered tea by the repairman, he said, 'Do you want tea?' He replied, 'No, thanks. My gastric acid is acting up'. He drank the water he brought," he added.

Then, after drinking water shortly afterwards, Taufik Lala coughed and lost consciousness.

"Seconds later, he coughed and then choked, and both of them immediately fainted. People there panicked and took him to the hospital to make sure, turns out he was already gone," he said.

Hasan said that Taufik Lala did have a history of stomach acid and high blood pressure. Therefore, Taufik Lala had difficulty breathing in the upper abdomen long before he passed away.

"Yes, his blood pressure was also high, but what he felt was his stomach acid was rising. He felt uncomfortable in his upper abdomen, but he didn't want to bother anyone and didn't feel that he was sick," he said.

2. Strange Signs

Not only that, Hasan once said that there were some strange signs from Taufik Lala before he passed away that the extended family did not realize. Taufik Lala suddenly didn't join the family in karaoke and chose to rest in the musala.

"There were many messages that we didn't notice there. That Saturday, he came to my house to celebrate my child's 1st birthday. There were no premonitions, he was healthy. It was unusual for him to sleep in the Majelis Kemanggisan, he seemed exhausted, usually he would join in karaoke," concluded Hasan.
