The closure of TikTok Shop is caused by government regulations regarding the ban on social media serving buying and selling activities. TikTok is committed to complying with these government regulations to close TikTok Shop.

When met in Gunawarman area, South Jakarta on Wednesday (4/10/23), Lady Nayoan expressed her sadness when TikTok Shop officially closed.
"I'm really sad actually. I just started being active on TikTok since late July. I was really motivated. Each live session had its own target, and when the target was fulfilled, there was a sense of satisfaction. And on TikTok, there was interaction with customers, so it was a unique experience. Hopefully, there will be new regulations, the best ones."

According to Lady, TikTok Shop plays a very important role, especially for housewives who want to earn extra income. Therefore, Lady hopes that TikTok Shop will not be closed, but regulated with the best regulations.
"We can sell from home. I see it as a great opportunity for housewives to earn extra income. It's really helpful, so hopefully it won't be closed, but there will be the best regulations," said Lady.

Before TikTok Shop officially closed, Lady admitted that she still continued to do live streaming for the last time selling on the platform.
"Yes, last night I did the last live. There is a schedule too," she said.
However, Lady does not know how the continuation of her selling activities after TikTok Shop officially closed. She admitted that she has not received further information from Richard Lee, who offers skincare products.
"I still don't know, there is no further information yet," concluded Lady Nayoan.
