Hengky Kurniawan's Intention to Make His House a Place for Medical Teams to Stay Denied by Residents: Do Not Bring Disaster Here!

Kapanlagi.com - Recently, Hengky Kurniawan expressed his intention to provide a place for medical teams who are assisting patients with coronavirus. The artist, who is also the Deputy Regent of West Bandung, offered his house located in the Pejaten Barat area of Jakarta.

Unfortunately, this good intention of Hengky Kurniawan was rejected by the surrounding residents. They felt very objectionable because Hengky's residence area is very crowded and close to the school area.

"We apologize if our residents refuse the medical teams because there are objections from all residents, because the residential area is very narrow and crowded. (This area) is too close to an elementary and junior high school. And there is also a kindergarten right in front of Mr. Hengky's house," said a resident in an interview with Cumicumi.

Not stopping there, another resident strongly rejects Hengky's plan. He admits that he disagrees with this matter, especially since Hengky has not had the chance to discuss this and ask for permission from the head of the neighborhood or the surrounding neighbors.

"Once again, this is not a hospital, don't bring disaster here and make the community panic. Don't just do it for show, it only looks like a show. Don't do it like that, you have to coordinate with the local residents first," he said firmly.

2. Hengky Hasn't Asked for Permission

Regarding this matter, Hengky was contacted by phone on Friday (3/4). He said, "I heard that some residents around here are objecting. This can be considered. The most important thing is that I have conveyed that I allow the house to be used for resting."

Furthermore, he also admitted that he has not had the chance to ask for permission regarding his post on Instagram. Hengky also mentioned that the house he offered as a place for the medical team to stay has been unoccupied for the past 2 years.
