This time, Jerinx SID's father, I Wayan Arjono, gave his testimony and revealed allegations of extortion by Adam Deni.

Arjono revealed how Adam Deni demanded and asked for Rp15 billion, at that time, Adam Deni invited Jerinx and Arjono to mediate at the Raffles Jakarta hotel. When they arrived, they were picked up by two people in the hotel lobby, but before entering, Jerinx and his father were searched to prevent any recording.

"Guarded by two people in the lobby. When I arrived, there were already two people picking me up, they took us to the meeting place upstairs. Before entering, I was searched and not allowed to bring a phone. I was checked like that, my phone and bag were checked, then I could enter. There were Adam Deni, Machi, and his girlfriend," said Arjoni at the Central Jakarta District Court, Wednesday (9/2).

Arjono said that at that time Jerinx's case file was already P21 and would be processed to the court soon, and Adam Deni also said that the issue could not be stopped anymore. As a father, Arjono still tried to mediate the issue so that it wouldn't reach the court.

2. Mediation

"We have the intention to mediate. We came, first we wanted to talk, Adam Deni said it had already reached P21 so it couldn't be stopped, Adam Deni said, but we still asked for mediation. I asked how to find a way out. First, it's Rp 15 million, but it can be negotiated. He, Adam Deni, asked for that. Mediation couldn't be achieved because we didn't have that much money," said I Wajan Arjono.

Because there was no money as much as Adam Deni's request, the mediation failed. Then, Arjono offered Rp 80 million but it was rejected, and then Adam Deni said Jerinx would be imprisoned for three years.

3. Black on White

"I can only offer Rp 70 million as long as you make it black on white," he said he couldn't, soft copy also couldn't, and it continued. What I know is that Jerinx has a target of 3 years, arranged by Adam Deni, targeted by Adam Deni, he said threatened for 3 years," he explained.

Not only that, Arjono mentioned that Adam Deni said that he had the highest power to throw Jerinx into prison. Then in the next mediation, Adam Deni asked for Rp 300 as well, but Jerinx's father only had Rp 70 million.

"He also said, I have power above the president. He said that Deni told me the same thing. That's what I knew at first. I still couldn't give 300 or billions, I still didn't get Rp 70 million in the end, the mediation failed," said Arjono.

In addition, Arjono said that Adam Deni asked Jerinx's party to keep the meeting confidential. Arjono also said that his son, Jerinx, is not a violent person and doesn't like to hit people, in fact, he often helps people in need by distributing packed rice.

5. Don't Let Anyone Know

"Once again, I attach, whatever happens here, don't let anyone else know. That's what Adam Deni said, not even my father's family should be told. Both of them were present, Machi, Jerinx, Adam Deni, his girlfriend, and me. That was the meeting at Raffles hotel on November 19th," Arjono explained.

"My child, until now, I have never heard, complaining to anyone about his violence, let alone seeing it. Bali is small, if you talk a little, people will know. What I know is that he often helps people in need, he often helps the people with rice packets for a week or two," he concluded.
