His Instagram Post About Roy Suryo Leads to Controversy, Lucky Alamsyah Apologizes

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Lucky Alamsyah apologizes for his Instagram story post a while ago regarding a traffic accident involving him and Roy Suryo. Lucky discussed the accident that occurred on Saturday (22/5/2021) in front of the Arion intersection towards Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta.

"If my Instagram post caused uproar and commotion, on this occasion, allow me to apologize to the entire Indonesian people, the readers of the media. Hopefully, this apology can lead to a more peaceful direction and resolve the misunderstandings that have occurred," said Lucky Alamsyah during a virtual press conference on Tuesday (15/6).

As known, the post led to a lengthy dispute as Roy Suryo, on the other hand, revealed that everything said by Lucky Alamsyah was untrue. The telecommunications expert even reported Lucky Alamsyah for alleged defamation and slander related to the hit-and-run story posted on social media accounts.

Furthermore, Roy Suryo's legal representative emphasized that the report was made because his client felt aggrieved by Lucky Alamsyah's actions. Since the report was filed, three witnesses have been examined, one of whom is Pitra Romadoni Nasution as Roy Suryo's legal representative.

1. Apologizing for Causing Controversy

During the virtual press conference, Lucky Alamsyah emphasized that his apology was related to his Instagram post. The post not only caused misunderstandings but also controversy, especially on social media.

Meanwhile, the 48-year-old actor has handed over the matter of the accident to the authorities.

"I apologize because it is related to the controversy that occurred after I uploaded on Instagram. Let the legal process determine what is right or wrong. I apologize for my Instagram post," he explained.

2. No Peace Efforts Yet

The feud between Lucky Alamsyah and Roy Suryo occurred last May. He wrote his complaint on Instagram, stating that Roy Suryo had hit his car and fled without apologizing.

Meanwhile, Roy Suryo denied Lucky Alamsyah's accusations and immediately reported him to the Metro Jaya Regional Police for defamation. Until now, there have been no peace efforts from both parties and they allow the legal process to continue.

"Until now, there has been no communication at all, we also haven't had the opportunity for it, hopefully communication can be established soon," he concluded.
