According to a follow-up report from Asahi Shimbun, the incident occurred around 5:00 PM local time on Sunday. The victim, a 44-year-old staff member of HKT48, reported that he encountered a man in a restricted personnel area, specifically near the elevator in the parking area of the first floor of Boss Ezo Fukuoka located in the Fukuoka Dome area. When the victim admonished the man, stating that the area was off-limits, the perpetrator immediately stabbed the victim in the chest without any verbal response.

Shortly after the first incident, a 27-year-old woman also became a stabbing victim. The woman was reported to have been stabbed in the back while entering the complex area. The management and operators of the complex confirmed that both victims did not suffer fatal injuries and are receiving treatment.
