Pramono Anung Shows His 'Wibu' Side Again, Singing Heavy Rotation and Dancing Wotagei!

Kapanlagi.com - Jakarta gubernatorial candidate, Pramono Anung once again showed his 'wibu' side when he attended Pluit Junction, Penjaringan, North Jakarta on Tuesday (11/19/2024). On this occasion, Pramono was seen wearing a 'Captain Tsubasa' t-shirt and meeting anime lovers and cosplayers who were present.

Pramono's presence was welcomed by DKI Jakarta DPRD Member from the PDI Perjuangan Faction and the event organizer of Little Tokyo Junction, Hardiyanto Kenneth. Not only that, he was also welcomed by Japanese culture enthusiasts. This event was also attended by Sokorahen Genki who played the role of Captain Tsubasa.

The visitors, mostly young people, seemed very enthusiastic when welcoming Pramono Anung's arrival. Dressed in various Japanese anime cosplay, the visitors appeared to compete to take selfies with Pramono Anung.

1. Wotagei Dance and Chanting Together with Fans

Pramono appeared to enjoy himself so much, even chanting along when the song 'Heavy Rotation' by AKB 48, which was popularized again by JKT 48, was played. He seemed carefree in front of the young fans who love Japanese culture.

"Myohontusuke kazen tobi jyoko jya jya faibo waipa," they shouted as they began the song, which was also adapted into Indonesian by JKT48.

As they entered the chorus, they changed their oshi name to 'Mas Pram'. "Chozsetu kawaii Mas Pram," they cheered while singing Heavy Rotation.

Not only did they chant, but some also performed the typical dance of Japanese idol group fans called 'wotagei' using orange lightsticks in front of the Jakarta Governor Candidate, Pramono Anung. Pramono did not hesitate to dance with the lightstick as well.

2. Tourism Potential of Jakarta

Pramono proposed that such events be held annually to attract tourists to Jakarta, which is no longer the capital according to the law (UU).

"I want events like this to be scheduled every year, bigger and better. This represents the tourism potential in Jakarta," said Pramono.

Meanwhile, the organizer of Little Tokyo Junction, Hardiyanto Kenneth, supported Pramono Anung's proposal. According to the man commonly called Bang Kent, fans of Japanese and Korean culture in Jakarta have great potential to find a platform for expression, considering Jakarta is a metropolitan city rich in community diversity and cultural activities.

"I support Mas Pram's idea if events like this are held every year so that they can also attract tourists to visit Jakarta," said Kent.

3. Pramono Anung As A New Hope

According to Kent, enthusiasts of Japanese and Korean culture can hold a number of events such as cultural discussions, film screenings, or experience-sharing sessions. They could also organize Japanese and Korean Cultural Events in Jakarta.

"The event could mimic the concept of a Japanese matsuri with traditional decorations, art performances (taiko, traditional dance, kabuki), and food stalls featuring Japanese specialties. Additionally, hosting cosplay events, anime and manga bazaars, or Japanese game tournaments like Street Fighter and Mario Kart could be included. Furthermore, collaborations with cultural centers at the Japanese or Korean Embassies could also be established," he explained.

Kent also acknowledged that if this community in Jakarta lacks space for creativity, the presence of the PDI Perjuangan gubernatorial candidate Pramono Anung-Rano Karno could be a new hope.

"The presence of Mas Pram as governor can be a new hope to accommodate youth in having a space for creativity," he concluded.

It was also conveyed by the head of the Little Tokyo Junction event organizer, Rizki Karismana, affectionately known as Zhuge Kamiya from Zhuge Kreatif Indonesia, that the presence of Mas Pram serves as additional fuel for the spirit of the community in Jakarta.

"I hope that with Mas Pram's presence at the event themed 'Nge-chant together with Mas Pram', the community will be more enthusiastic because they receive support from the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial candidate, especially since he even tried the wotagei dance. I hope Mas Pram succeeds in becoming Governor and can continuously support our activities," he concluded.
