Hubert Henry Basis & Founder of Boomerang Passes Away, Roy Jeconiah: 'Without Him, There Would Be No Boomerang'

Kapanlagi.com - The basis and founder of the legendary rock band Boomerang, Hubert Henry Limahelu alias Henry Boomerang, passed away on Saturday (24/4/2021).

This was known through the post on the official Instagram account of the band Boomerang which announced the sad news.

Farewell, Hubert Henry Limahelu. All your stories and works will always be a Color for all of us. May you #Return to the protection of God in heaven. Our prayers will always be with you," wrote the official Instagram account of Boomerang.

1. Boomerang Founder Figure

Before his passing, Henry underwent brain surgery due to bleeding. Although his condition was temporarily stable, Henry finally took his last breath at 08:15 WIB.

Hearing this news, the great vocalist of Boomerang, Roy Jeconiah, expressed his condolences. For Roy, Henry was someone who made Boomerang as big as it is now.

2. Expressing Condolences

"We express our deepest condolences. For me, there would be no Boomerang without Henry, we went through ups and downs together to make Boomerang grow, we knew each other very well," said Roy Jeconiah as quoted from JPNN.com, Saturday (24/4/2021).

In response to this sad news, a group of Boomerang musicians immediately initiated a solidarity action and fundraising for the late Henry Boomerang. They plan to perform live Boomerang songs on Colors Radio Surabaya starting at 8 PM tonight.
