"It has a big impact, losing many singing jobs and hosting off-air events. But because I have to stay at home, I develop my talents and hobbies on social media, especially TikTok, which has reached 1.4 million followers in the past 3 months," said Tenny, on Friday (4/9/2020).

Unlike other artists, Tenny prefers to create horror-themed video content. Some of her TikTok videos have even gone viral and been watched over 10 million times.

"I discuss horror topics, and sometimes fun facts. Now there are many requests from netizens for me to discuss various topics. I search for data and sources from the internet to tell the stories, and sometimes I receive DMs to share their horror experiences," she said.

"At first, many people on TikTok were discussing wax statues made from human bodies, so I made a video explaining one of the movies that tells the story of wax statues made from humans, and it went viral," she added.

2. Received an Award

Not only did the singer of the song "Kurang Apa Aku" go viral, but she also received the #samasamaindonesia award from TikTok when she made a video about Indonesian independence.

"I just enjoy sharing information that is sometimes not taught in school. During the 17th of August, some videos about independence went viral and I was given the #samasamaindonesia award by TikTok," she said.

"Alhamdulillah, since going viral, 90% of the comments have been positive. This is also proof for those who used to hate us without knowing us. And hopefully, Tenny can learn from past criticism to improve herself in posting content," she concluded.
