Rizky Billar Finally Responds to Lutfi Agizal Who Made a Stir Because of the Word 'Anjay'

Kapanlagi.com - Rizky Billar finally speaks up about the word 'Anjay' that has been controversialized by the Indonesian Child Protection Commission due to a complaint from Lutfi Agizal. He admitted that he didn't expect the word to have such a long-lasting impact, as according to him, the word 'Anjay' is just ordinary.

"Well, this is something that I never expected, because at first it was just normal, it's an expression of my spontaneous admiration when I sing dangdut because I've never sung dangdut before, so I said 'anjay' after singing," said Rizky Billar when met in Jakarta recently.

"Because I was happy, at first it was all fun and exciting, then there was someone who exaggerated it with the reason of education and stuff, if he really wanted to educate, he should have come to me first instead of going to the media," he continued.

1. No Reprimand at All

According to Rizky Billar, the word 'Anjay' itself does not exist in the Indonesian Dictionary, and he wonders why it has to be exaggerated to the government level. However, up to this point, Billar admitted that he has not received any reprimand from individuals or institutions.

"Check it in KBBI, the word 'Anjay' is not there, it's a slang word like a trendy word that eventually got exaggerated and reached the government institutions, it's strange. But so far, I haven't received any reprimand, I'm just chill," he said.

2. No Intention to Insult

In addition, Rizky Billar stated that the use of the word depends on each individual's perspective. According to him, the word 'Anjay' itself seems funny and it would not be appropriate to use it as an insult as stated by Lutfi Agizal.

"It depends on each person's perspective and I have no intention to insult. No one has ever insulted with the word 'Anjay' before, and I won't be afraid if I get insulted like that. In fact, I would laugh, right?" he concluded.
