A new fact has emerged from the mouth of Inara Rusli. Behind her controversial marriage to Insanul Fahmi, Inara apparently was the one who suggested her husband to mend his relationship with his first wife, Wardatina Mawa.

Although Insanul claimed to have pronounced a second divorce to Mawa, Inara still asked her husband to reconsider the decision to divorce.
"I have asked Insan to improve. Improve his household. Because at that time I saw, even though I didn't know sister M personally yet, I saw there was no valid religious reason for a divorce," Inara stated when met at the Bareskrim Polri, Thursday (08/01/2026).
According to Inara, as long as there is no reason justified by religion (udzur syar'i) for divorce, it is better to maintain the marriage. This encouragement is what initially delayed the registration of Insanul and Mawa's divorce at the religious court.
"I encourage brother Insan to continue his marital relationship, that is why brother Insan did not immediately file for divorce in the religious court. Because he still wants to give a chance," he explained.
Inara also touched on the issue of the polygamy offer that Insanul had proposed to Mawa. According to Inara, her husband had given an open option to his first wife: to accept polygamy or to separate amicably.
"Well, previously, according to brother Insan's confession, he had already given the option to sister M. Whether she wants to continue with the polygamy option as per the circulated voice note, or just choose to end it like that," he added.
Unfortunately, Inara's good intentions and the polygamy offer seem to have not been positively received by Mawa, who instead chose the legal route to resolve this issue.
