Maintaining children's nutritional intake often poses a unique challenge for mothers, including the beautiful actress Indah Permatasari. However, she has her own tricks to ensure that her son, Arsen Raffa Balint, affectionately called Naka, always eats well.

When met in the Sunter area, North Jakarta, on Thursday (17/7/2025), the wife of comedian Arie Kriting enthusiastically shared stories about her family's favorite dishes.

"Naka really loves moringa leaves. So when eating moringa leaves, he can have two to three servings of rice," said Indah Permatasari with a smile.

According to her, the child's love for healthy food did not come about by itself. Since the complementary feeding period (MPASI), Indah has been very attentive to Naka's eating habits. She intentionally did not introduce salt, sugar, and additional flavorings so that Naka would get used to the natural taste of food.

"Indeed, since he was little, I took care of his MPASI very carefully. From MPASI, I have really monitored it, there is no salt, no MSG, no added sugar. So indeed, when he is one or two years old, he can eat everything," she explained.

Although her son is not a picky eater, Indah admits that Naka is the type of child who gets bored quickly. To outsmart this, she has to be creative in presenting a varied menu every day.

"He likes exploration. So if for example in the morning it's an omelet, the carbohydrate is sweet potato, at noon it's rice with vegetables and fish, in the evening he doesn't want rice again. So sometimes I switch to spaghetti. Just change the carbohydrate," Indah explained.

Indah admitted that at first she was a bit confused thinking about menu variations, but now she understands her child's taste. For her, the most important thing is that Naka wants to eat and his intake remains healthy without needing to snack carelessly.   "At first it was confusing, but because we already know what he likes to eat, it’s actually safe," she concluded.
