"September is the month of awareness and concern for cancer in children. So, during this month, we provide education to people about childhood cancer. How to handle it, especially for those who are less fortunate. This is still minimal and also overlooked," said Indra Bekti when met at the YKAKI Office, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, Thursday (24/9).
"Therefore, YKAKI invites everyone that childhood cancer can be cured early. We also educate about children who have cancer, they should not be bullied, for example, because they are bald or amputated. They have the same rights as playing, for example," he continued.

In addition, the 42-year-old presenter admitted that by participating in advocating for children's cancer awareness, she has become more grateful and learned many things. According to her, she is luckier than children with cancer in YKAKI.
"Definitely grateful, definitely healthy, and learned many things, learned to share, care, and have the spirit to live. It's like they are still young but already have quite heavy problems, yet they are very strong," she said.
Indra Bekti also considers these children with cancer as heroes. Heroes who are fighting against their illness with extraordinary spirits.
"I consider these children as heroes and fighters for me. This is an extraordinary difference in my life, for others, and for my family, that life should be social, not just about money," he concluded.
