"For that matter, of course, Mom, I, we are open to that. So we talk about this matter like this, in a dating relationship like that, you have to be careful," he said when met in the Harmonie area, Central Jakarta, Thursday (11/12/2025).

Bekti issued a strong warning about the importance of maintaining self-respect. He wants his two daughters to understand that their bodies are personal authority that should not be touched carelessly by the opposite sex, even in the context of dating.

"You have to take care of yourself because it all starts from the top down, very down, yes, that is something that must be protected for women. So we really emphasize that so they have a sense of self-awareness," Bekti asserted.

This man, born in Jakarta, does not want his children to get caught up in excessive socializing. He emphasizes that having feelings for the opposite sex is natural, but it must be accompanied by strong logic and self-control to avoid jeopardizing their future.

"But it also needs to be maintained here, we don't want it to go overboard. We don't want them to have, you know, a sense of fear, and then there's this feeling, that's what I think is maturity," he explained.

Bekti realizes that as a parent, he cannot supervise his children 24 hours a day. Therefore, instilling religious values and principles of self-protection becomes the last line of defense for his children when they are outside the home."We continue to pray that we have religion, that is the most important thing. Religion, keep the religion, keep themselves," added Bekti.

This step was taken by Bekti not to restrict, but as a form of a father's love. He wants Dafania and Anabell to grow up to be dignified women who are not easily exploited by others."So that they have a sense of self-awareness," he concluded.
