Indro Warkop's Last Meeting Story with the Late Ade Irawan

Kapanlagi.com - 11 days after the departure of Ria Irawan, her mother, Ade Irawan passed away. The senior actress of the nation died from complications of heart disease and a history of lung disease that she suffered from. The body is planned to be buried today, Saturday (18/1).

Before being taken to her final resting place, the body was laid in the funeral home in Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta. On that occasion, Indro Warkop was seen present. As is known, Indro is a junior of the late Ade Irawan in her heyday.

"Coincidentally, I was working in this area, suddenly when I got the news about her, so I came here. It also happened that I had a scheduled heart check-up, periodically, because I have a kind of (heart disease). After finishing (the check-up), I came straight here," said Indro when met at the funeral home (Ade Irawan) in Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, Friday (17/1) afternoon.

Indro also reminisces about Ade's figure during her lifetime. The 61-year-old man even openly admits that she was one of his idols in the entertainment industry.

"She was my senior, and she was an artist from the old days who always valued time and respected everyone, including the crew. That's something hard to find, and I learned it from her. She also had many principles," he continued.

Indro and the late figure actually had the chance to meet and chat, precisely on the day Ria passed away. Although they were not from the same generation of artists, they often chatted in the past.

"I just talked to Bu Ade yesterday when Mbak Ria (passed away), we talked a lot and she apologized for Ria. Even though we're not the same age, we were almost together, especially since she used to hang out at Prambors, often asking about us (Warkop), and we talked back and forth about Ria," he concluded.
