Question of Division of Assets, Lina's Child from Marriage with Teddy Has No Inheritance Rights

Abdurrahman Pratomo, Lina's lawyer, explained all the assets that Lina handed over to her children.

"The details include two hectares of land in Pangalengan, a boarding house with 32 rooms in Telkom University, a house in Villa Banda, land in Lembang, land in Ciamas, land in Bandung, and also in the Cilenceng area. These are immovable properties. Not to mention jewelry and others," said Abdurrahman Pratomo when contacted by phone on Monday (13/1).

Abdurrahman revealed that the value of all the valuable assets left by the late Lina is quite large. "If we total it, it's quite significant, reaching Rp10 billion," he added.

Abdurrahman Pratomo explained in detail the issue of dividing assets owned by the late Lina, including the gono-gini price after Lina's divorce from Sule.

"Yes, some of the gono-gini assets, the essence of asset division is the assets owned by the deceased before marriage to Tedy. If there are assets obtained after marriage to Tedy, they should also be divided," Abdurrahman Pratomo explained.

2. Tedy's Child Has No Inheritance Rights

As for the child from Lina and Tedy, Abdurrahman said that the child does not receive any share of Lina's assets. Abdurrahman stated that the child from Lina's marriage with Tedy has no inheritance rights.

"They do not have inheritance rights from previous assets. There are no inherited assets, so we need to clarify the division of assets. We consider Tedy and the baby to have no inheritance rights because this is from a previous marriage," he concluded.
